EZboard = a free chat site containing
several themed forums. (ex - Shejidan: A Cherryh Pit)
Forum = a themed subsection within
a message board (ex - The Cherryh Grove)
Thread = one specific topic of conversation
within a forum (ex - Atevi Children's TV)
Post = one specific message or statement
within a thread
Some common abbreviations:
BTW = by the way
FTL = faster than light
FWIW = for what it's worth
FYI = for your information
IMHO = in my humble opinion
IMO = in my opinion
IRL = in real life
J/K - just kidding
LMAO = laughing my ass off
LOL = laughing out loud
N/T = no text
OMG = oh my god
OTOH = on the other hand
PML = peeing myself laughing
ROFL = rolling on floor laughing
